Have we told you what we have been up to lately?

When we were awarded the Iglu Student Accommodation project at Kelvin Grove, we saw an opportunity by joining forces with ReLove to keep quality furniture out of landfill. ♻️

Our Queensland team coordinated multiple fridges, microwaves, chairs and couches to be redirected to individuals and families experiencing crisis. Not just avoiding waste but helping people who need it most. 🚛

Through initiatives like these, ReLove have diverted more than 2,500 tonnes of furniture from landfill, giving items a second life rather than letting them go to waste.

This collaboration was particularly rewarding for our team, knowing that a strong sustainability outcome also translated into meaningful community support.

It took coordination, effort, and thinking beyond the easiest option - exactly the kind of problem-solving we're here for. None of this would have been possible without the incredible Jamie D’Amico from Iglu, Paul Rosenberg Vella and Rachel Smith from ALD Expert Demo, and Ben Stammer and Ren Fernando from ReLove, who helped make it happen.
