From a heritage building that looked nothing like this to a space where the boundaries between inside and outside just melt away - with entrance doors that disappear when opened to create one continuous space. This heritage hall β€˜The Pavilion’ is ready to host weddings, functions, and countless celebrations. πŸŽ‰

But let us tell you about the journey to get here... πŸ˜…

More than halfway through the heritage timber flooring work, nature decided to test our resilience. Almost a week of relentless rain, water damage... the works. Water found its way through the timber foundations and started bubbling up to the surface. Not exactly what you want to see when you're working with precious heritage materials!

We removed the entire floor and sourced timber that matched the original specifications exactly. Looking back, every challenge just made the final result even more incredible.

What makes this project truly special? We solved the accessibility challenge with thoughtful ramp integration. This beautiful space now opens its doors to absolutely everyone! πŸ™Œ

Together with the thoughtful design by BJB Architects and Larissa Orso from Larissa Leigh Interiors, combined with the joinery work from Stream Line Joinery, we’ve created something truly special for Sydney Restaurant Group.
