Throwing it back to one of the coolest designs we've worked with, a 30-metre picture made from balls of moss! 🌿

Premium office tower Darling Park commissioned an artwork imagining what it would be like to look out of the window of a plane flying over the Blue Mountains.

The moss formed into clusters of trees, rolling hills, a river snaking through the valleys. The installation created this surreal experience - like stepping into a bird's eye view of the Australian landscape.

This artwork uses Japanese bonsai technique called kokedama (literally, "moss ball") and is made from sustainably sourced reindeer moss which absorbs and releases moisture from the air.

Midway through the installation, a change of artist meant we brought in landscape architects ASPECT Studios and installers Easygreen Interior to reimagine the path forward together (π€π§ππ’πŸπ«πšπ π’π₯𝐞 in action). The result was nothing short of magical. πŸ™Œ

This was such a rewarding part of our larger project at Darling Park, creating spaces that inspire, breathe, and bring a bit of the outside world into the heart of the city.
